# Introduction

This video covers the method to solve a problem involving uncertainty. There are two types of equations and they need to be dealt differently with the two rules:

1. $x = y \pm z$
2. $x = yz$

The variants to the above equations are also covered. After the rules, the video shows how to solve typical problems through some examples. Lastly, it also explains how uncertainty should be expressed together with the quantity that was calculated.
